Blog links reviewed, refreshed, "Damn You Auto Correct!" Workshop Performance Video

Hi All - just wanted to let you know I have recently reviewed and refreshed all the links on the sidebar to be sure they are all working.  Please feel free to send me a note when you find a link isn't working or if you have a suggestion for a new one or if you have something of interest to local filmmakers. I like to post mostly calls for submissions, grant notices, information on agents and distributors, etc. rather than one-off productions (except when they're my own, a-hem!) just because there is a lot going on and I think people refer to this site more for links to information and resources, which I have compiled over the last few years because these were sources that were helpful to me.

As an added bonus for my handful of devoted followers, I've updated the link for the musical I'm working on now. Formerly titled Planet Eden is is now called Alienated: The Best Alien Abduction Musical in the Universe.  That should more clearly outline what to expect from the show. Ha! Check out the widget that links to our short one-song audio sampler.

Planet Eden enjoyed staged readings in 2010 at CoHo Theatre and then we had three staged readings in October 2010 and January 2011 thanks to Portland's Broadway Rose Theatre under the direction of Dan Murphy.

Kurt Crowley and I are fortunate to have added a new collaborator, Marc Acito, who is rewriting the book for us.  We will have a new reading at Artists' Repertory Theatre in September 2012 directed by ART's Jon Kretzu. I hope you can attend.

In the meantime, here is a video of a song that Kurt and I wrote recently called Damn You Autocorrect! It's available for performance. If you have a film or show coming up you think it might work in, let me know. We have the music all ready to go and it can be a solo or a duet. This is video from a workshop performance recently.

Enjoy!
